A welcome from the Head of School

''I am delighted to welcome you to O Castro British School. It is an exciting time for the school as we build upon over a decade of successfully delivering a wonderful learning experience immersing students in a British Education across all ages from 3-18 years old. Over that time our students have consistently achieved some incredible examination results, which has given them the platform to go on to study at some of the finest universities in Europe and beyond.

The school however, is committed to ensure that alongside examination results, students have opportunities to develop their talents across academic, sporting and cultural fields.We encourage students to try new activities helping them to develop passions that will we hope will be lifelong. These passions and experiences offered at O Castro will help them become responsible and reflective young people who are ready and equipped for the wider world.

Vital to achieve these goals is the strength and support of the school community, this collaboration with our parents and families ensures the O Castro is a vibrant and positive environment in which we set and achieve the very standards in all areas of the school.

The school provides a safe and stimulating learning environment, developing lively, inquisitive minds and promoting a lifelong thirst for knowledge. The teaching staff are passionate and experienced in delivering teaching subjects areas and are focused and attentive to the progress of their students.
