Admissions at O Castro British International School
If you’re considering enrolling your child at O Castro, we encourage you to get in touch with the school to find out more, organise a school tour, and begin the admissions process. We are currently accepting applications for students across all age groups.
"I have been working at O Castro for nine years as Head of Admissions since January 2020. Every day is a new challenge for me, putting all my dedication and effort into ensuring that all parents and prospective parents at the school receive personalised and dedicated attention.
I am the mother of two children at the school who are already in Sixth Form, which allows me to understand in depth the concerns of our families in all educational stages.
During my personal and professional career, I have lived in several countries such as Belgium, England and Ireland, both for work and education. Although I did my higher education in Madrid, the city where I was born, I have lived in Vigo since I was 3 years old. I feel 100% Galician, and it is the place we chose to create our family, both for my family roots and for the quality of life offered by this beautiful city, its landscapes and its wonderful beaches.
Being part of O Castro is very enriching, both for the warmth of the community and for the international and global atmosphere that permeates every corner of the school. Furthermore, being the only British school in Galicia at all stages of education demands responsibility, rigour and commitment, and makes us learn and grow every day, both as people and as a school."
